A boat without a working motor or sail to propel it is at the mercy of the current....It can't reach a desired location or destination if it doesn't have the power source to give it forward momentum...All the boat can do is drift in the direction of the current stream or tide, even of its in the opposite direction of where it is suppose to be going!
This is what average looks like...Average is the product of idleness so it doesn't have any power, direction, or determination...Average is subject to the tides, currents, streams, and pulls of the world... One thing I've learned is you don't accidentally drift into purpose, success, or supernatural. Extraordinary, supernatural, and abundant living are only achieved through a life of purpose and determination!
If our marriages, jobs, finances, personal lives, etc, have become idle and average then we must recognize that we are just drifting and going where the world takes us...
I say no more! No more going with the sway, the drift, the current of the world, and the average life that moves us to complacency and ineffective living!
Hebrews 2:1
Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not DRIFT away.
