A true walk with God has undeniable FRUIT! A form of Godliness is equivalent to a bowl of artificial fruit, (It looks real, but no true life giving benefits is on the inside) But a Spirit filled relationship with Jesus as your Lord and Savior, PRODUCES UNDENIABLE, TASTY, GENUINE, FRESH, RIPE, LIFE GIVING FRUIT, that goes beyond religious ceremony.
If we could have a Fruit of the ...Month club in the Spirit, "THE CLEANSING FRUIT" would be one them! There are many glorious evidences and changes that happen in the lives of believers... I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT, THE OUTER GIMMICKS, MAN-MADE FLUFF, AND FORM THAT WE CAN TAKE CREDIT FOR BY EXERTING OUR WILLS.... I'M TALKING ABOUT AN "INNER" WORK THAT JESUS CAN ONLY DO!!!
"THE CLEANSING FRUIT"
It's the undeniable washing that makes one hard to recognize if you previously knew them. It's the cleaning power of the Blood of Jesus that rids a life of: GUILT, SHAME, DEFILEMENT OF SIN, FAULTS, WICKEDNESS, STAINS, DIRT, MORAL FILTH, AND LIFELESS OBSERVANCES! It purifies and purges a person making them CLEAN, MORAL, CONSECRATED, PURIFIED AND DEDICATED TO GOD. It's a fruit that cleanses the conscious from DEAD WORKS! (How will you ever stop doing that, feeling that way, justifying that, wanting that, desiring that which you know is wrong?.... THE BLOOD OF JESUS)!!!
This is the FRUIT worth watching for, is it growing in your life? Can you recognize the cleansing effects? HINT: Look for it in the times that no one else is watching. It's amazing the work THE BLOOD OF JESUS does in our hearts, minds, and wills, CLEANSING US FROM EVERY DEAD, NON-LIFE PRODUCING WORK!

When we are all alone in our thoughts about ourselves, away from putting forth an image or portrayal to try and impress others with, most of us if we are honest with ourselves feel quite ORDINARY! We don't feel like we have any special or distinctive features and we actually feel quite common. Let me feel you in on a not so little secret… For those who have been BORN AGAIN and made NEW, listen up!
Genesis 1 declares, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion "… Romans 8 teaches, "whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son"… and Psalms 139 proclaims, "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works". Now does any of this sound ORDINARY to you? Actually quite opposite…We suddenly sound extremely EXTRAORDINARY!
We began a journey Sunday that was based out of a book entitled, "The Dream Giver". This book starts out with a this opening line, "Not long ago and not far away, a Nobody named ORDINARY lived in the Land of FAMILIAR." I don't know about you but I instantly could relate to this sentence the first time I read it… But I want to encourage you this Thursday…If you have been feeling ORDINARY and you have been living in the Land of FAMILIAR, you have been given the authority to move and become EXTRAORDINARY through the Power of Jesus Christ… Join us as the HOLY SPIRIT leads us into our God given destiny and dreams!

So what happens when we've been living in the WASTELANDS (The land that is less then and below the standards of the Kingdom of God) so long that we have experienced a level of temporary, success…NOT KINGDOM SUCCESS MIND YOU, but Wasteland Success?!?! Success that can be described as coping mechanisms....
One of the biggest problems with grow...ing up with the "Wasteland" mentality is that we have to learn to "Survive"…in whatever way it may manifest for each of us…For some it's a lifestyle of lying your way through everything…For some it's finding ways to get by financially, no matter if its illegal or not…Some develop a hard exterior to keep people away so they won't get hurt again…Some people survive by having a terrible temper to make people fear them, so they can get their way…Many manipulate peoples feelings and emotions to get what they want...Yet for others it may be trying to be a "good person" or being religious attending church regularly, following the law, but still corrupt, broken, and twisted inwardly...
No matter what your method of survival has looked like, sounded like, or felt like…you need to understand something very important…
We weren't called to survive…we were called to die….
Survive - to remain alive or in existence: to live on… to remain alive after the death...Example: "He is survived by his wife Paula"
It's time to stop SURVIVING in life and start living by first dying!!!!
Galatians 2:20
20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me...
The result of this survival mentality is spiritual stagnation and unproductive living…If our number one goal is to survive, then we are no longer free to make the right decisions, the correct choices, or have a KINGDOM IMPACT!!!
If we have a desire to "Survive" then it saps our freedom and joy that is only found in the Lord… Too many people are dealing with "Burnout" when the Holy Spirit is saying, "Just MOVE OUT"…. Stop trying to survive and stressing out, tiring out, and burning out and die to self…Get out of the Wasteland and move into the benefits of the Kingdom!!!

God has had a master plan from the very beginning and that was to establish His Kingdom on earth. God created the earth and e...verything in it: The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and every creature that moves on earth. He created every seed-bearing plant on the face of the entire earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. What came next? God created man in an incredible way...He created humankind in HIS OWN image and told them to fill the earth and subdue it...to rule over everything on the earth. Their place of inhabitance, the Garden of Eden, was their domain to rule. We all know what happened next! Adam and Eve chose their will and desire over God's Wisdom. What they didn't expect to happen is what came next... They were required to leave the Kingdom established by God and made to live in THE WASTELAND!
What is a WASTELAND? A bleak and unused or neglected area...Uninhabited...Not fit for crops...NOT ABLE TO SUSTAIN NORMAL LIFE, DEATH...
What waited for them there?
- Loss of God given position...No longer did the have dominion, but life was dominating them
- Transfer of responsibility from God supplying their needs, to them being responsible to have to do everything for themselves
- Fear and timidity in lieu of peace and confidence
- Frustration replaced delight
- Pain and discomfort overcame health and rest
This is the place the Holy Spirit said to many of us are living...In the Wasteland...
The Wasteland is uninhabitable...It’s overgrown with issues...it’s barren of dreams and success...It’s a land that isn’t fertile and can’t produce anything but weeds of problems and thorns failure...
The truth is we were born to be WASTELAND WALKERS... We were born from the seed of Adam...The original Wasteland Walker...So our carnal, human nature, is to:
Build a house there
Struggle trying to make a living their
Find our spouse their
Have our children their
Develop our habits from their
Get comfortable and complacent their...
So, If we are born with a corrupt seed that causes us to have an innate inclination to be Wasteland Walkers...What are we to do? God had a plan in mind...
A little over 2,000 years ago the Prophet John the Baptist comes on the seen proclaiming: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Because God had revealed to him that He was sending Jesus to re-establish His Kingdom on earth!!!!
Then Jesus Declares Himself ... “The Kingdom of Heaven is near...has come...Is among you...” Jesus literally came to fulfill God’s plan to Have Kingdom People on Earth...To have dominion as a kingly ruler!
John 3:3 NIV - In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
If you are Born Again you need to understand this very clearly!!!
1 Peter 1:23 NET - You have been born anew, not from perishable but from imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God
Understand that God did not change His mind on what He wants His Kingdom to be like! His original intent is still as prevalent today as it was when he created Earth...He still wants us to Have Authority, Be Successful, Have our Needs Met, and Have Incredible Marriages...
We just have to be be willing to cross over from the Wastelands to the Metropolis of the Kingdom of God!

THINGS GET HOSTILE!!!...
BUT IF CHRIST JESUS HAS PUT TO DEATH THIS HOSTILITY, ENMITY, AND DIVISION, THROUGH HIS CROSS CREATING A NEW MAN, (A CROSS MAN) A NEW KINGDOM ETHNICITY... WHY ARE WE THEN STILL STANDING FIRM IN THE PRIDE OF OUR OLD RACES, CULTURES, AND DOCTRINAL DIFFERENCES CONTINUOUSLY STRIVING TO BE VIEWED AS BETTER THAN ANYBODY ELSE????? CHRIST DEATH AND RESURRECTION CALLS EVERYONE TO RECEIVE AND BELIEVE IN HIS SALVATION!!!
NO ONE IS EXEMPT FROM HIS CALL, BUT ONCE RECEIVING HIS CALL, MUST DENY AND DIE TO HIMSELF, AND IN OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD, BY THE GRACE AND INDWELLING SPIRIT OF GOD, BE TRANSFORMED AND CREATED NEW... When God does mighty works among you, you are accountable to CHANGE! What doesn't change becomes RUINS!

How does a place where Jesus walked, and spoke and displayed most of His miraculous powers lay in ruins today?
THEY DID NOT CHANGE!
Why isn't there one recorded miracle of all the miracles that took place there?
THEY DID NOT CHANGE!
How can a waterfront property, rich in grain, and olive production, that had built houses for God, which contained the seat of Moses, be known now as a place of ruin?
THEY DID NOT CHANGE!
WAKE UP!!!...INDIVIDUALS, CITIES, AND NATIONS, When we refuse THE CHANGE JESUS CHRIST BRINGS, WE WILL SOMEDAY LIE IN RUINS!!! WOE - great sorrow and distress, troubles, grief, regret, await cities, and nations that deny the "Change" that God brings. YOUR BEGINNINGS MAY HAVE BEEN IN GOD, BUT YOUR ENDINGS MUST BE AS WELL!!
Woes on Unrepentant (Unchanging) Cities
MATTHEW 11:20 Then Jesus began to criticize openly the cities in which he had done many (MOST) of his miracles, because they did not repent. 11:21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 11:22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you!
Repent - a change to the entire life... A change of ones mind for the better... heartily to amend with abhorrence past sins.
WHAT PREVENTS THE RUINS? CHANGE!
